Regardless of who you may have voted for in this election, 70m+ of your fellow citizens exercised their right to disagree with you.
Your friends and neighbors may agree with you (or not), but if the whole country is considered, there’s an awful lot of folks who don’t.
Unless you believe that ~50% of the voting population is “crazy”, then it’s worth pausing for a moment (or hopefully longer) to consider why they disagree with you. By seeking to understand where people are coming from with a genuine interest we may be able to move forward together toward a solution that helps everyone.
Life does not need to be zero sum.
